The simple, tasteful interior of Moose Hill came together with the homeowners, the design staff and the architect group, and Colby Construction to make this home warm and inviting. The lake lot, large and cascading, was the ideal setting for this beautiful dwelling.

The heart of the home is obvious; the open concept kitchen, dining and wet bar area makes a wonderful gathering space. It was important for the home owners to be able to have a home that appealed not only to their friends, but also to their grown children and grandchildren. The large windows in the dining area allows for gorgeous lake views.

The kitchen incorporates unique features for a family that loves to cook and bake. Easy-to-access spice cabinets makes cooking a breeze and a lift for the kitchen aid allows easy access for making cookies with the grandchildren.

Another wonderful feature includes a bathroom located off of the swimming pool entrance. The space is perfect for guests to change and rinse off before and after a dip in the pool.

The master suite resides on the first floor, a smart choice for a couple that resides in the home by themselves. Yet, the home still features four large guest suites on the second floor to accommodate overnight family and visitors. A large finished walkout basement creates another area for the grandchildren to play and the adults to relax.

But why is the home named Moose Hill? The gorgeous den is home to the guest of honor. An avid sportsman, the homeowner enjoys hunting and fishing, and “Mr. Moose” is proudly on display in the den.
