The change of seasons is upon us, and, as new home builders in Wisconsin, we love the summer, the cool water splashing over us as we jump in the lake, the lemonade we sip on the porch, the fireflies sparkling on the warm evenings. But we also love the change from summer to fall. The days are getting shorter, the leaves begin to change, football, warm fires and harvest moons. Fall is spectacular in Wisconsin, especially when you’re considering Colby Construction as your new home builders.

The Colby Team understands our love of the seasons in Wisconsin and creates an environment and custom home that allows your home to be your sanctuary as you watch the seasons change.
A Room for Every Season
Today we look at the beauty and unique addition of having a three season room. Colby takes pride in creating a space that captures the style and continuation of your home. Whether it is a place to sit by a roaring fire, watch the sunset, enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening, the three season room is the space that allows for an extension of the season. Here is a glimpse at some gorgeous rooms that are unique and tastefully designed to meet the owner’s desires and needs.
In keeping with the look of the home, this room needed a fire place mantel that, like the rest of the home, tied historical, antique pieces and old world charm with modern day luxuries. The owner could not decide on a mantle for the center attraction, the fireplace. The team at Colby had the perfect solution: an antique beam that Pete Feichtmeier had been storing for many years. As soon as the owners saw the beam, they knew it was exactly what the room needed. Details such as these are what make Colby truly a custom new home builder.
